Please read the following terms before using this app. By starting to use the app, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
HAKOBUN ("the App") is a delivery management support app designed to improve the efficiency of delivery drivers' work. It provides features such as parcel registration, route management, delivery status tracking, and OCR-based address scanning. The App is a business support tool. Compliance with laws, safe driving, and adherence to your delivery company's rules during actual delivery operations remain your own responsibility.
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. Please use it as a delivery driver or as a manager of delivery operations. Using the App requires registering a profile within the app (name, base location, contact information, email address). This registration is a local profile stored only on your device; linking a Google account or external authentication is not required. Registration with false information is prohibited.
[Free Trial] You can try all Premium plan features free of charge for 14 days from the date of your initial profile registration. No charges will be made automatically during the free trial. If you wish to continue using Premium features after the trial ends, please subscribe yourself through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). There is no automatic transition from the free trial to a paid plan. [Paid Plan (Premium)] Price: The amount displayed on the App Store / Google Play purchase screen (tax included). The amount may vary depending on your region and currency. Billing: Automatically renewed monthly through the App Store / Google Play. Cancellation: On iOS, go to Settings app > Apple ID > Subscriptions. On Android, go to the Google Play Store's "Subscriptions" screen, or the account screen within the app. You may continue to use the service until the end of the current billing period even after cancellation. [Refund Policy] Refunds are subject to the respective policies of the App Store / Google Play. [Price Changes] We will notify you within the app at least 30 days in advance of any price changes.
■ Location Data (GPS) Purpose: Navigation to delivery destinations, current location display, route optimization, and sharing meeting points via the Group feature Collection timing: Only while the app is in use (no background collection) Destination: Current location and destination coordinates are sent to the Google Directions API for route calculation. When you send a meeting point via the Group feature, those coordinates are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) and shared with other users in the same group. ■ Camera / Images Purpose: Automatic input of address and recipient name via OCR scanning of shipping labels, and scanning QR codes to join a group Processing: OCR is processed on-device (iOS: Vision framework / Android: Google ML Kit) and never sent to external servers. QR code scanning is also processed entirely on-device. Storage: Temporary images are promptly deleted after recognition is complete ■ Voice (Microphone) Purpose: Voice-to-text input for addresses, memos, and status updates Processing: Uses the speech recognition service configured on your device (system default). Depending on implementation, voice data may be processed remotely by that service provider ■ Address / Postal Code Purpose: Coordinate conversion (geocoding) and address lookup from postal codes Destination: Google Geocoding API (address → coordinates), zipcloud (postal code → address, a third-party postal code lookup service) ■ Input Information (Name, Phone Number, Email Address) Purpose: Management of delivery operations and driver profile settings Storage: Encrypted storage on your device (iOS: Keychain / Android: EncryptedSharedPreferences, AES-256-GCM) External transmission: None (except for the address and location data described above). However, if you use the Group feature, the display name you register is shared with other users in the same group. ■ Group Feature & Push Notifications (Identifiers) Purpose: Joining groups, sharing meeting points, and delivering push notifications when a meeting point is shared Data collected: An anonymous authentication ID (an identifier automatically generated by Firebase Anonymous Authentication that does not directly identify you), a push notification token (used to identify your device), your group display name, and the coordinates/memo of shared meeting points Destination: Firebase (Firestore / Authentication / Cloud Messaging / Cloud Functions, operated on Google Cloud) Sharing: This data is processed by the App's operator and by Google (the provider of Firebase). In addition, meeting point locations and display names are shared with other users who belong to the same group.
■ Google Maps Platform (including Geocoding API / Directions API / Maps SDK) Used for map display, navigation, address geocoding, and route search. Identifiers such as IP address, device information, and cookies may be automatically sent to Google in connection with map display and operation. Google's Privacy Policy applies (https://policies.google.com/privacy). ■ App Store / Google Play Billing Used for subscription payments. Payment information is managed by Apple / Google and is not retained by the App. ■ OCR (Text Recognition) OCR processing of parcel images is performed entirely on-device; image data is never sent to external servers. ■ Device Location Services Used to obtain GPS data. ■ Device Speech Recognition Services Used for the voice input feature. The provider and processing method depend on your device settings. ■ zipcloud (Postal Code Lookup API) Used to look up addresses from postal codes. Only the entered postal code is transmitted. The operator's own privacy policy applies. ■ GitHub (Notice Delivery) Used to fetch publicly available files on GitHub to display in-app notices. No personal information is transmitted through this communication. ■ Firebase (Google Cloud; Group feature & push notifications) Used as the platform for group membership, meeting point sharing, and push notification delivery: Firestore (database), Authentication (anonymous sign-in), Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and Cloud Functions (notification dispatch logic). Through these services, your group display name, meeting point coordinates, and push notification token are processed and stored on Google Cloud. Google's Privacy Policy applies (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Personal information and business data you enter are stored in encrypted storage on your device (iOS: Keychain / Android: EncryptedSharedPreferences, AES-256-GCM). Except for the address, postal code, location, voice data, and Group-feature data (display name, meeting points, push notification token, etc. stored in Firebase) described in Articles 4 and 5, no data is transmitted to external servers or synced to the cloud. If you uninstall the App, the data stored on your device is deleted (Group-related data on Firebase is deleted separately when you leave or delete a group). You can delete all stored data at any time from the settings screen. Group-feature data can be deleted from the Group screen by leaving or deleting the group. If you use the backup feature, you are responsible for managing your exported data.
